Little Greene Darwin Wallpaper is an expansive 18th-century scenic design from the Archive Trails collection. Dating from around 1760, the surviving document was found in a house in Aix-en-Provence but is English in origin, identified by the tax stamp on the reverse of the original rag paper. Its exotic composition was created to imitate the hand-painted Chinese papers admired in fashionable European interiors of the period.

Available in Azure, Jeune, Provence and Serein, Darwin combines birds, foliage and flowering branches in a large-scale repeat with a richly decorative, mural-like presence. Serein closely reflects the colours of the remarkably well-preserved archive document, while the other colourways offer distinctive alternatives for contemporary interiors.

Printed on a non-woven base for Paste the Wall application, each roll measures 10.05 m × 52 cm and has a 98 cm half-drop pattern repeat. The wallpaper is washable.
