About Rhododendron Walk

Aderyn is based on hand-painted Chinese wallpaper from the State Bedroom at Erddig in Wales. Its birds and flowers were observed with delicate detail, with many birds appearing in pairs — a subtle reference to the Chinese idea of complementary opposites.
