Little Greene Bassoon 336 is a muted yellow with a deep ochre undertone, historically valued in the back-of-house areas of grand homes for both its warmth and practicality. Its earthy depth helps disguise everyday wear while creating a welcoming atmosphere, making it equally relevant to modern kitchens, utility rooms, hallways and dining spaces. Use Bassoon across walls for a grounded yellow scheme, on cabinetry or joinery for an architectural accent, or pair it with warm neutrals, dark timber and natural stone. A distinctive Little Greene ochre for period properties and contemporary interiors seeking a practical, characterful alternative to bright yellow with rich historic undertones.
